First time tubing down the river..had absolutely the best time ever...We where just a little early at the pick- up spot.. called them and the bus driver was there in less then 10 mins
Quiet place with very helpful staff. Everyone that works here is super nice. Made our stay enjoyable. Important to us is how pet friendly they all were. He could even go canoeing with us. Thank you staff for making us feel at home.
Awesome place to get with friends and float down a river. Good campgrounds and great that it has power.
So much fun drifting down the river on tubes. The water level was low at some points. The other issue was the bathroom. They have an actual building that has bathrooms in it with showers. And yet there's only one of those buildings. They had out houses that were so gross no one could use them. There was also a store where you could buy clothing some food stuff and the water shoes. You going to need water shoes. A lot of rocks. The youngest in our party was 2 and the oldest was 57. Don't forget to bring bug spray.
My family and I have ben camping and canoeing with Russell's for forty years. Always a fantastic time. We've ben to several others on the Rifle and a few different rivers, Russell's is by far the best! Bob and Leslie always treated us like family and now their kids are providing great service also. This past July my son and I finally did the 5 day trip (Grousehaven lake to Saginaw Bay). We had a great time. However, this trip is not for the inexperienced. Thanks everyone for a fantastic time.
